My experience with this company was short but far from polite, courteous or safe. While travelling on I81N in Hagerstown, MD, i came up behind one of their work vans on the interstate, in the left lane. The driver of the van was passing a tractor trailer. I waited patiently and safely behind him as he made the pass, as i am not one to "tailgate" or "push" people down the road, simply because its a jerk thing to do. After the driver of the van passed the truck, he chose to stay in the left lane and impede traffic, even though there were no more vehicles in the right lane. As I was previously traveling faster than the Sterling Electric van when I came up behind him, I waited to pass the tractor trailer and I proceeded to pass the Sterling van in the right lane. When he realized what I was attempting to do, he quickly and aggressively swerved into the right lane in what I feel was an attempt to prevent me from passing him in the right lane. I was forced to swerve onto the shoulder of the highway to prevent him from colliding with the front end of my truck and I accelerated quickly to complete the pass, as I was afraid that slamming on my brakes could have caused the tractor trailer behind me to panic and cause yet another incident on I81. The driver of that van put a lot of people's lives at risk for nothing more than not wanting to share the road. Clearly this company is not cool headed or courteous or has safety at the top of their list.
